A Week Off To A Good Start (April 20, 2009 - 7:09 p.m.) Today was a great day! I dropped Stephanie off at school, in a great mood, at around 7:45. When I picked her up after a totally uninterrupted day of sleep, she was in real good spirits. She went to three of her five classes today, spending close to 20 minutes in each one. She did meet her teacher for English in 3rd period, but felt kind of sick for 4th. But she was ok when I picked her up, and has just finished supper. What is really cool is this. We feel was though we have our daughter back! She seems happy, she talks more (a mixed blessing, mind you), and is just in a generally better frame of mind. Praise God! We have an exciting appointment with a doctor this Thursday afternoon who is one of the founding members of Defeat Autism Now (DAN). We hope that his reccomendations don't turn out to be so expensive that we can't do them. We'll see. TTFN, y'all! 0 comments so farMissed anything? |
