A Rant...Then Some More Baby Steps (2006-07-22 - 10:56 a.m.)

Yesterday, Stephanie had her ninth PK Therapy session. Only one more to go before we re-evaluate. We are kind of excited about that. Hopefully, we won't be disappointed. In fact, if testing shows that the chelation is working and we are successfully eliminating heavy metals, Christi is prepared to fight with the insurance company to get them to pay for all these sessions. Chelation, after all, is not an "approved" treatment for autism.

There are no "approved" treatments for autism. It is, after all, "incurable." According to the "experts."

Those experts being the people that we have entrusted with the health of our children.

I remind you, I no longer have much faith in the "traditional" medical profession. I still like my "grown-up" doctor. She is a little different. I should ask her sometime what her take is on all of this.

I have absolulely no remaining trust of the CDC (Center for Disease Control) or the FDA (Food and Drug Administration). All of those people can take a flying leap into the pits of darkness for all I care. They have lied to us. If you don't believe me, check out this link to Put Children First. Click on the little link at the bottom right that says "read more." First, go ahead and take a look at the full page ad that they put in USA Today. Then go read more. Click on the link to the left that says "Simpsonwood."

Simpsonwood was a conference in which it was admitted (never media-wide of course) that Thimerosal is a problem in vaccines.

Thimerosal is a mercury based preservative. MERCURY! Anybody drink any mercury lately?? If you have, let me know what happened. The symptoms will be amazingly similar to the symptoms of autism.

Once again, let me throw some statistics (man, I had to backspace about six times to spell that word right...) at you. In the mid-80's, autism cases came at a rate of about 1 in 10,000. Today, they appear at a rate of 1 in 166. That's roughly a 600% increase in cases.

A portion of that can, probably, be written off as better diagnostic procedures, etc. But not the whole 600%! Something happened in there, to cause this, and the American Association of Pediatricians, the CDC and the FDA are not at all interested in finding out what it was.

You know why? Because they already know!!! And they are never going to admit it.

For ten years, roughly between 1993 and 2003, our children were given massive doses of thimerosal as the vaccine program was stepped up and accelerated.

Stephanie was born in 1993.

Dear God, why did we not hear anything about this until last year??

Partially because the pediatrician that we were going to refused to even entertain that autism spectrum disorder was an option for what was wrong with Stephanie. By the way...once again, his name is Guy Lamere. He works in the Cooks Children's group in Fort Worth, Texas. So if you live in the area and are looking for a pediatrician, pick a different one. He's worthless.

Where was I? Anyway...check out that Simpsonwood document. It has verifiable proof that the government organizations knew what was going on. Two of the vaccine makers even offered that thimerosal-free vaccines could be easily provided. The CDC told them "no thanks." ????

Recently, I shared with you a good step that happened last week. Well, this week there have been some other developments.

Suddenly, out of the blue, Stephanie has started playing outside again. This is huge. She hasn't played outside much in about a year. Of course, she waited for the hottest week of the year. She got pretty sunburned a couple of days, too, so we have started applying heavy doses of sunblock.

She has also started interacting with two of her old friends on the street. This is also huge. She hasn't really spoken with either one of them in about a year. In fact, one of the spent the night with her this week! Wow!!! And they went swimming together, too. They sat in the living room and played Guitar Hero all day one day.

Shout out to Racecar. Yes, Guitar Hero ROCKS!! I was doing fine until I got to "Texas Flood" on the hard level. That was my first "failure." Then I hit "Cowboys From Hell." I have yet to pick it back up. I will prevail, eventually.

Anyway, these events prove to us that we are seeing some difference in Stephanie. The chelation, the gluten-free/casein-free diet, these things are making a difference.

There are treatments that go beyond operant conditioning (that's really all that most autism "treatments" amount to---"Skinner-ism"). There are medical things that can be done to reverse the damage done.

I only hope that we haven't waited too long to heal. I know we have helped. But brain damage is difficult to reverse, and the longer you wait, the more difficult it is.

Thanks for reading. Thanks for your prayers and support.

TTFN, y'all!

Jeff

PS I've quit trying to number the entries. I'll just come up with a different title for each one. Too hard to keep up with the numbers.
