We had a marvelous time this past weekend.
Rachel and Justin (the boyfriend) came over with their newly purchased "Rock Band" game for the X-Box 360 (which they also brought along, because we only have the standard X-Box).
What an amazing game!
We took up the whole living room, with a "drum set," a guitar and bass, and a microphone. There were wires everywhere. But we had a great time. We played for most of Saturday, and a few hours on Sunday afternoon, as well. Christi played bass the whole time, while the rest of us alternated between vocals, drums, and lead guitar. We had somewhere in the neighborhood of half a million fans by the time we quit.
One of the hardest songs to do is "Train Kept A-rollin'" by Aerosmith. Very challenging on the drums. The vocals were no problem for me, because I know the song, but all of us had a heck of a time on the drums for that song. And we never went past "medium."
Anyway, if you have a group of people to play, this game is great fun. It's a bit expensive, but a lot of stuff comes with it. I think it would be even more fun with wireless guitar controllers.
I guess that's it for tonight.
TTFN, y'all!
