Well, we've made it to Boston! We had two really great flights on Friday (we flew Delta, so we had a layover in Atlanta), and got our rental car, this huge Lincoln Town Car. We drove through Boston Friday afternoon rush hour and made it to our house, a charming guest house behind a large plantation-style house in Plymouth, MA. It's beautiful out here!
Yesterday (Saturday), Christi, Stephanie, and I went on a whale-watching tour while Rachel met up with some WoW friends and spent the day roaming Boston with them. We had a great time on the tour (four hours on that boat!) and actually had a great sighting of three humpbacks frolicking in the Atlantic. By the way, this was officially the farthest I have ever been from land (we were about 30 miles out!). Anyway, I got some pretty good pictures and have posted them on Flickr. Here are some links to them.
All three whales in one shot. According to our tour narrator, one of these is a baby.

We had a great time, and it was educational and, well, just cool to see whales in their natural environment.
Today, we head to Fenway for the first of two Red Sox games against the Texas Rangers. The Rangers won last night 5-4. In some ways, I really don't care who wins today. I win. Because I'll be in baseball heaven.
There will be pictures. Many pictures. I'll post some tomorrow.
TTFN, y'all!
PS Prayers going out to Sandyz. I've been away for a while, so I'm not sure what's happening, but she's experiencing some pretty severe tribulation in her life.
