Let It Snow, Baby!! (December 02, 2007 - 7:40 a.m.) Reemember how it snowed on Thanksgiving here in Texas? Well, today, we have our big Christmas celebration of the year, we call "The Hanging of the Green." It's where we arbitrarily pick this family named "Green" and... No, no. I'm just kidding. We put up our Christmas decorations in the church, sing a bunch of Christmas hymns, and have readings that explain the origins and meanins of our decoration traditions. It's great fun. And it's going to be 75 degrees today. Go figure. I don't have any short-sleeved Christmas shirts. Pft. 1 comments so farMissed anything? |
