First of all, mucho gracias to Spritopias for picking up my idea and trying to spread it. He even added the MORON link to his layout so it will be on every day's page. I gotta figure out how to do that so I don't have to type it out every day. I'm still kind of "html-challenged."

I've got a major prayer request to those of you out there who pray. Two things going on right now.

Rachel is now wearing a heart monitor. Yeah, you heard me right. She started having heart palpitations last Friday night. Christi took her to the doctor today, and they slapped a monitor on her until tomorrow to try to figure out which part of the heart is causing it. What happens next will depend on the data that is retrieved from the monitor.

Christi has been experiencing really bad vertigo for about a week. This has happened before, but in combination with other things that have been going on for the last year, the doctor wants her to get an MRI. (A MRI?? I've always had trouble with that one..."M" sounds like it starts with a vowel, therfore it SOUNDS right to say "An MRI." It sounds WRONG to say "A MRI.") This is just freaking me out a little bit, here. I mean, two-thirds of the most important people in my life are suddenly in possible life-threatening danger. I'm not sure how well I can handle this.

But...yesterday's Daily Bible reading in Proverbs gave me some really good ammunition. "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths."--Proverbs 3:5-6. My understanding is not important. Only God's is. Therefore, I will lean on Him, and everything will be ok. Even if it's not "ok."
