Jon Daniel, "Boy-Man-Ager," Strikes Again! (2006-04-02 - 8:40 a.m.) A real quick one, then I have to go to church. Rangers won the exhibition agains the Marlins last night, 6-4. All the runs were scored in the first three innings. Brad Wilkerson hit two straight home runs as the lead-off batter! Let's hear it for the new outfielder!! Mark Teixeira hit a homer in the first inning, as well as Mark DeRosa. One of the Marlins hit a grand slam in the third. R.A. Dickey made, in my opinion, a decent showing, except for the third inning. I think everyone in a uniform got to play in this game. Also exciting, Laynce Nix got some playing time for the first time in a long while. I think he got a hit? Can't remember. The bad news is that the "boy-man-ager" Jon Daniel has traded David DeLucci to Philly. CRAP!!! Arrrghhh!!! That just ticks me off to no end! All because Adam Eaton has reinjured that finger and will be out for three freakin' months!! And we could have still had Chris Young instead! Tom Hicks, you need to fire Jon Daniel and get a real General Manager, do you hear me??? Ok. Enough. TTFN, y'all. 0 comments so farMissed anything? |
