Bud Selig, Read This Now!! (2006-06-28 - 8:30 a.m.)

This is a brief departure from the autism subject to whine about the officiating in last night's fiasco between the Rangers and the SF Giants. Apparently, the umpires felt that the Giants needed a little help in beating the Rangers. I saw Michael Young get ejected upon throwing his bat down after getting called out on a pitch that was at least 6 inches off the plate. At least. Then Buck Showalter, the manager, got ejected arguing with the home plate umpire who threw Young out.

Later, in the ninth inning, Mark Teixeira got ejected when he went ballistic after the umps called his hit foul. For crying out loud, it hit the foul line!! Chalk dust flew up when the ball hit the line!! That's a fair ball. Honestly, that was some of the worst officiating I have ever seen.

Bud Selig, listen up! You need to stop this interleague crap. Nobody I know likes it. We don't need it.

On a positive note, the Red Sox have now won 10 straight game, possessing the longest current winning streak. And the evil Yankees lost yesterday, giving the Sox a 3.5 lead on them.

And wonder of wonders...the KC Royals have won 8 out their last 10 games! Go Royals!! Hahahah...

That's enough baseball for now. I think the Rangers should refuse to play the rest of the series with SF.

Stephie and I will be at Friday's game with the Astros. If I didn't already have tickets, I wouldn't go. I'm never going to another interleague game. Unless it's playoffs.

TTFN, y'all
